THE HEINEKEN HOUSE (2014)

Industry: Beer Brand // Work Provided: Social Media

During Art Basel Miami, hundreds of thousands of people travel to Miami to experience all things art. As a result, major brands look to leverage the exposure by having a presence during Basel. Heineken decided to bring The Heineken House project to South Beach with an installation at the 2014 Scope Art Show.

The Heineken House gave blank canvases to 12 international muralists and street artists. Over a five-day span, the artists live painted their respective canvases on the Miami Beach sand.  We were tapped to manage the project’s social media accounts during the activation.

This included:

    • Coordinating content with Heineken, our creative partners, and the artists
    • Publishing social content to build and maintain awareness of the project
    • Engage potential visitors + provide community management
    • Deliver reporting on overall performance and results

LINCOLN’S BEARD BREWING CO.

Industry: Brewery // Work Provided: Social Media, Branding

After opening its doors in May 2016, Lincoln’s Beard Brewing experienced six months of stagnant sales growth. In tandem with Beyond The Agency, we were hired in November 2016 to build the brewery’s brand strategy, develop their visual brand identity and manage all their social media.

Our primary goals were to drive traffic to the taproom and increase revenues. We began by creating the #WeirdAtTheBeard campaign: a brand narrative that uniquely positioned the brewery as “the weird friend that’s as comforting as family”. This campaign was executed with captivating content, backed by targeted social ads aimed at Miami’s local beer drinkers. 

The results:

    • Over 40% increase in revenues in six months
    • 14K+ Check-Ins at the brewery (Facebook) 
    • Over 1K uses of #WeirdAtTheBeard (Instagram)

Strange Beast

Industry: Restaurant + Hospitality Group // Work Provided: Brand Identity 

We were tasked with creating a brand identity for a hospitality concept / brewpub that was inspired by Kaiju films and is launching in Miami, Florida. Kaiju originally referred to monsters and creatures from ancient Japanese legends and the direct translation of Kaiju is “Strange Beast” – hence the name.

Their first brewpub is projected to open in early 2019, with more concepts in the works. Carving its own path in the hospitality industry, Strange Beast will bring an unusual experience to Miami. It represents the suspense and excitement that defines Kaiju films, bringing that unearthed energy to the concept & community. They will bring a brave and bold attitude, testing different themes and unique food & beverage offerings that are new the area.

Our work included: 

    • Developing a brand identity (logo, color palette, visual imagery, etc) 
    • Providing design assets for digital and print materials
    • Create overall brand design direction
